Given it another shot. Took 500 HXD.TO at 9.43

This is what my HXD.TO short is based on. A 60 min chart of XIU.TO, rejection at resistance with reversal candles.

The daily chart of XIU.TO looks really bearish.

Stopped Out HXD.TO

Man I can't seem to catch a good trend for at least 2 days. Stopped out of HXD.TO with a $50 / 1.1% Loss

YRI.TO & HXD.TO

Got stopped out of YRI.TO with a $112 / 1.8% loss

I took a stab at some HXD.TO and took 500 shares @ 9.59.

Daily chart of XIU. Its the weakest NA index, its below its major MAs. You can see it bouncing right into resistant trendline and MAs.

60min chart with possible rejection levels.

I watched the 15 min for signals, which is below its MAs and pointing down.

Bought YRI.TO

Bought 400 shares at 15.41 of YRI.TO today. Gold stocks are looking good for a bounce, YRI.TO is one of the stronger ones. 

Sold HFD.TO

XFN.To totally hit my HS target perfectly.

I got out of this POS way too early. SP been down 5 days, XFN.TO wasn't going down and showed strength, I thought there'd be a bounce and decided to get out. It tanked after I sold it. Net $70

Bought 1000 shares of HXD.TO at 9.11. This is the 2x short of the TSX 60. I bought it based on the 15min XIU.TO below.

I shorted the bounce from the gap down this morning. I try to short into the 130MA (5day on a daily) with the 13/34 crossing down.

I hate this POS. Took a small loss of $24.

Took 400 shares at 6.05 of RES.TO. My order was for 500 shares but iTrade is a POS and they were having trouble with their fills (again) this morning. I don't like the way this ended today, drifting down.

Giving TLM.TO a try again. Hopefully this signal will work, gotta take those signals. Bought 500 shares at 13.53.

Stopped Out AVL.TO

Stopped myself out of this POS because of negative crosses on the 15min and 60min charts and because it has not been going anywhere. Of course right after I sold it, it popped. Loss $60/2.1%

Got stopped out of this POS too with a $120/1.8% loss.

Bought the pullback on AVL.TO, 1000 shares at 2.78.

I fucking hate nat gas. Stopped out with a $170/5.2% loss

Took 500 shares at 13.31 of TLM.TO on the 60min silver bullet signal.

They call this the widow maker, nat gas. This 'could' be a long term bottom. Taking a stab here and took 1000 shares @ 3.25 with a 3.10 stop.

Sold HSD.TO

I covered our SP short and sold 700 shares of HSD.TO at 7.63 with a $183/3.6% gain.

Bought HSD.TO & VXX.TO

My first trades of the year for 2012! Just got back from 6 weeks in Java and Bali. Anyways, top picking is always a dangerous thing but the risk reward is pretty good, so I thought I'd take a stab. Bought 700 shares @ 7.34 of HSD.TO which is the 2x inverse (short) of the SP500. Stop is low of the day or high of the day on the SP.

I also took 100 shares @ 24.20 of the VIX. The SP made a higher high but the VIX did not make a lower low which creates divergence.

Sold IMO.TO

I wanted to start the new year by banking some coin. Sold IMO.TO with a $309/7.2% profit.

OMG. 2012 already. I help its going to be a better year trading wise and I really feel that this could be a turning point year for me as a trader. 2011 was a dud and very difficult to trade, even for the pros. I ended the year down 6.02% and closed at $16,142. The good news is that I started trading Pam's account in May and she's up over 8% to $16,219 (started at $15K).

We're leaving for Bali/Indonesia on the 10th of January for 6 weeks and well be returning on the 21st of February so after I will close out the last position in IMO.TO and not trade probably until march.

I took a tiny position in HOD.TO which is the Crude Oil 2x short. I bought 500 shares at 5.25 with a stop at low of day.

This is the USO oil etf which I based my short on. It's had a straight up run and it gapped up today right into resistance, see red circles. Today could be a exhaustion gap, hopefully it'll gap down tomorrow creating a island top.

This market is soooo god damn skittish that I can't hold anything for more than three 60 min bars. It gaps up or down everyday and I don't have the stomach or balls to hold it over a weekend. Stopped myself out and took a $10 Loss.
